California Supply Chain Act
The California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010 requires certain retail sellers and manufacturers doing business in California to provide disclosures regarding efforts to eradicate slavery and human trafficking from their supply chains.
Cretex Companies is taking the following steps to manage our supply chains relationships:
Cretex evaluates our suppliers. Our evaluation does not specifically address risks of human trafficking or slavery in our supply chain.
Cretex conducts periodic audits of certain suppliers who impact our quality system to confirm compliance with quality standards. These audits are not conducted via an independent unannounced audit. Our audit process does not specifically encompass measures relating to supplier compliance with company standards in the areas of human trafficking and slavery in supply chains.
Our standard contracts with suppliers generally require suppliers to comply with applicable laws without specifying laws regarding human trafficking and slavery.
Cretex Companies Standards of Conduct shares our principles on treating people honestly, fairly and with respect. Our Standards of Conduct defines Cretex Companies policies for promoting ethical business conduct and compliance with legal requirements that apply to our business. Our Standards of Conduct contains general standards for ethical business conduct but does not currently contain specific provisions addressing human trafficking and slavery. Our Whistleblower Hotline is available to anyone to report a concern about the business conduct of our employees or to ask questions about our Standards of Conduct.
Cretex strives to provide training on our Standards of Conduct for new and existing employees as well as training on our other policies. We do not currently provide specific training on topics of mitigating risks relating to human trafficking and slavery within supply chains of products. We are currently considering training of company employees and management who have direct responsibility for supply chain management with respect to mitigating risks within the supply chains of products.
