Cretex Companies Acquires Leading Medical Packaging Services Provider

ELK RIVER, MN, June 13, 2017—Cretex Companies ( today announced it has acquired Quality Tech Services (QTS), a supplier of outsourced packaging services to the medical device industry.

Located in Bloomington, MN, QTS specializes in cleanroom assembly, packaging and labeling, sterilization management, process development and validations, and material sourcing and supply chain management. They serve a broad set of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in the orthopedic, neurology, pulmonary, dental, and other medical device markets.

JunoPacific Celebrates Opening of New Facility for Medical Device Design, Development, and Manufacturing with Congressman Paulsen

Anoka, MN. December 8, 2014—JunoPacific, Inc., a premier medical device design, development, and manufacturing company, celebrated the opening of a new state-of-the-art facility with a large open house for customers, employees, and honored guest, Congressman Erik Paulsen. Located northwest of the Twin Cities in Anoka, the facility has over 60,000 square feet of design, development, and manufacturing space to support JunoPacific’s Fortune 500 clients as well as a diverse array of medical start-ups. Additionally, the facility has over 18,000 square feet of clean room space for manufacturing and assembly of all classes of medical devices from disposables to implantable products. Specific sections of the building are also dedicated to silicone molding and 3D printing capabilities.

While touring the facility, Congressman Paulsen stated, “It’s wonderful to see the significant investment made by JunoPacific in the continually growing medical device expertise here in the Minneapolis area.” He added, “It is a pleasure to participate in recognizing this significant milestone for the community and for JunoPacific.” The new facility currently employs over 125 people and is expected to grow by another 25% to 50% over the next two years. JunoPacific also has three other facilities in the Midwest and West Coast.

Cretex Companies Acquires Pacific Plastics & Engineering

Soquel, CA. May 23, 2011—Pacific Plastics & Engineering (PPE) today announced that it has been acquired by Cretex Companies, a diversified group of manufacturing companies, headquartered in Minnesota. PPE is a contract manufacturer of tight tolerance injection-molded, assembled and packaged devices for the medical and bio-tech markets. Located in Soquel, CA, PPE offers engineering and design, tooling construction, prototype, short-run and production molding, and assembly services in its FDA registered location.
